TV election ad for The Australian Greens highlighting the need for immediate action on climate change. Australians know that John Howard and Kevin Rudd are not fully committed to tackling global warming. Both are too close to the coal industry. The Greens have a temperature target of 2 degrees and a transition to a low-carbon economy. Vote 1 The Greens on November 24

  • Does any one know why the Greens block our comments before they are even posted? Some must go through, but they don't like mine.

  • Nuclear Power is the second safest energy source in the world. Why are the Greens supporting Wind Power, such a vile energy source slaughtering birds and hurting our poor farmers health, when Nuclear Power is so much safer and better?

  • Vote green and you'll be taxed for mowing your lawn, weeding your garden and flushing your toilet. Climate change is mother nature that the greens want to 'cash in on' with your money!

  • Bob Brown is an Australian Living Treasure.

Up there with all the Australian Greats.

  • Do we need State Government's All over Australia still ? .... To many desalination plants going ahead State Government's don"t think

  • Vote Greens 2010 federal election A vote for the future

  • of course the climate is changing. its been changing for millions of years, and theyve been saying for decades that "in another 10 years the great barrier reef will be gone"

  • It's clear we can't trust Libs and Labor with their "clean coal" rubbish, and the "nuclear" option. The Greens are the only ones with a comprehensive plan to address climate change, including reducing our consumption (i.e. wastage) of energy.

  • The thermometer is symbolic. Average global temperature is 14.5 degrees, and it isn't showing that either if we want to be scientific.

  • It is internationally recognised we are in the midst of climate change. Your flippent comment mbwardle would suggest you need to do some research yourself. 15 degrees is possible. Action is required now and the Greens are the only party with concrete 2020 targets for Australia.
