@nessiebreath If you say Microsoft steals your money for software the same thing can definatly be true for Mac. However they don't steal for the software, but they steal your money with the pricing of the hardware. A mac nowadays uses a Wintel platform hardware wise, and you probably could install MacOS on your PC just fine, though your not allowed because MacOS can only legaly be installed on a Mac system, talk about lock-in! As a businessman, Bill did VERRY well! I've deep respect for the man.

@nessiebreath That's why I wrote "hardware wise", it;'s the same platform. Same architecture that windows runs on. In fact, it's not that hard at all to make OSX run on a regular PC.

This is however a never ending debate. Also I didn't say I respect the man because he's a good businessman, those where two different opinions. I do think he's a great businessman, AND I also respect the man. This by all means does not mean that I respect all succesfull businessmen.

@simotionpcs. "Wintel"- no thats not true. Macs use Intel chips yes, but have nothing to do with the Windows Operating system.

If you say you respect someone just because they are a 'good businessman". I assume then, that you have the same respect for someone like Donald Trump? Being a good businessman doesn't necessarily mean you have made any constructive contribution to the world. In fact in some cases the opposite is true. Gates contribution is in his charity work.

I'd rather kill microsoft and try to build a system that bring me better products for less money. So take your "streetwise" boloney and show it where the sun don't shine, while others try to act responsible so that you can get all the societal benefits that you one day will realize you have without congtributing to it at all. Grow up, and stop listening to bad gangster rap.
