IMHO you're correct that there's not enough focus on introspection/reflection, but incorrect in denying the importance of the external. Even Victor Frankl would have preferred not to be in a concentration camp. The spiritual/philosophical knowledge of the "East" is vast, but there's a tendency, esp. among New Age devotees, to utterly dismiss "Western" values, which, for all their flaws, created the vantage point of material wealth from which to self-criticize and look abroad in the first place.

Very good, i like i like i alot, just found you been searching for talk on stillness, A question i pratice as much as possible to be silence in mind walking to work at work and as much as possible cultvating a state of being, do you think one day it will just click and i will not have to try, be natural ? and i will just BE , it has got a bit easier but will it just remain without effort the stillness of mind

Great question! The trap is in thinking "one day"; the time is NOW. There is nowhere to get to. Instead of trying to fix the mind, it is better to just accept & observe it. Everyday you will have ever expanding drops of enlightenment even when the mind is active. Throughout the day return to the breath as an anchor and you will find you already have everything you need & you no longer need a destination. Check out my video "Fire Your Guru". Thank you for commenting.
