Has anyone ever heard Eddie Fisher's version of Insensitive? It's on his Games That Lovers Play album. I have never heard it sung by anyone else until I heard this one by Doris. Maybe someone could put Eddie's version on. It's nice to know that Doris is still singing. She was one of the best.

I grew up on Sinead O'Connor's version, and it's pretty awesome. This one is the one that inspired her, and is also fantastic.

beautiful voice, i love this version better than Astrud gilberto ...Doris sang this with feelings and emotions in her words...:))

@tgmtgmtgm Me agrada este comentario. Aprecio y admiro a los conocedores de la música popular. Yo tuve mucho tiempo creyendo que cantar y gritar eran lo mismo, jejeje. Gracias por recordarme cuál es cuál.

Doris Day could really sing. Talk about an under-rated singer... She was a perfect instrument. And a beautiful one as well...

great song from a great album. Nice video too

I love this version that Doris Day sings.
I concur with the previous post. Excellent version from a superior Day album (possibly her best). Day never over-sang; rather, her voice was the medium through which the emotions of a song were conveyed. (Listen to the portion that refers to "icy silence") She never engaged in the irritating "vocal gymnastics" that are so commonplace among contemporary singers.

I sort of collect 'How Insensitive' renditions. Shirley Bassey: the most sophisticated one so far, Andy Williams: the most silky one, Robert Wyatt: the oddest one, Astrud Gilberto: the most Latino (and lifeless!) one and Sinatra's voice simply didn't fit. I'm hearing Doris's for the first time, wow, what a performance. That beautiful husky voice, the EMOTION she puts into it! Have you noticed that she always sang effortless? No matter what genre. A singing and acting genius, this Sunshine Girl.
