The FSU Concert Band performing Godzilla Eats Las Vegas by Eric Whitacre at their first Spring Concert along with a humorous low-budget video slideshow. And in case you're wondering why it's in two parts and haven't heard, my camera only allows me to record 10 minutes at a time so I made sure to cut it off once things got quiet and restart it immediately so that I didn't end up missing anything later on since I knew that this song is a little longer than 10 minutes.

Don't mind the audio quality so much which isn't that great. I recorded it using a simple Sony Cybershot Digital Camera.

  • nice high A at end trumpets.

  • our wind ensemble at my school did this last year. im in wind ensemble this year and hope we can play it again before i graduate!

  • I bought two giant bags of confetti when we layed and the drummers threw it everywhere, the whole band got a handful. Our band director also go a whole bag on her head at the end of the concert

  • Did your drummers get dressed up as Elvi? We're doing this in my band this year and I hope ours do

  • We are playing this next year. LOOKS AWESOME!

  • :O I'm absolutely speechless! Amazing! How I came across this video? Intern, the clarinet player from FSU told me, said how much he loved playing it. And now I can see why! That was awesome!
