With a big band orchestra, singers and swing dancers, IN THE MOOD, is the retro 1940's musical that brings to the stage the music that moved a nation's spirit and helped win a war. More than a concert, IN THE MOOD is a Big Band Theatrical Swing Revue that brings to life the era when all of America was listening and dancing to the same kind of music: Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Harry James, Erskin Hawkins, The Andrews Sisters, Frank Sinatra, and other greats of the 1940s. Featuring a company of 19 including the In the Mood Singers and Dancers with the sensational String of Pearls big band orchestra, the shows arrangements, costumes and choreography are as authentic as it gets!

  • @kiraofthewasteland me too.

  • @FalconProduktions because no heart and soul is in today's music.....today's music is about making money instead of having fun telling a story.

  • Hmm not a professional big band huh?

The baritone sax is way off in 0:04 and the singers are coming in different in the beginning, not too nice. Otherwise a nice amateur orchestra!! good job!

  • i would love to be able to dance like them... i dont think that i could do the flips tho lol

  • what the hell? this song has words???

  • Glen Miller Music is Great

  • press 7

My folks' music was Swing. Mom's dad was a house musician at Blossom Heath, the Big Band venue in Oklahoma City -- looking pretty on Route 66.

But it was segregated, like the South where so many black musicians who inspired Swing played. No coloreds allowed, except entertainers.

The South was still segregated when the hippy shit put an end to that BS.That was really beautiful.

  • Being born in 1996, looking back on how happy everybody was back then and content, i wish we could go back!

  • Didnt grow up in that era, but really enjoy this song (in the mood), was considering going to the show, but not sure. really like this music and dance though!!!
