everytime i hear this song it takes me back to the 90s aswell, when i was a child gorwing up watching disney films, going the c inema to see them, having them on video, listening to vanessa'as music and other r&b artists too =] loves it xD this is 1 of her best songs, such a gorgeous version x

@sparkygurl123 definitely agree w/you. she didn't sing it from the heart,quite dull actually. cant help but compare it to lea salonga's live version. lea sung it passionately and wholeheartedly.... this version i therefore say, has no life to it.

*my opinion* she's wonderful and beautiful and sing lovely, but, she doesn't really sing it with that strong meaning to it. (sort of like an inspiring (or passionate) way). I'm very sorry if I sound weird and mean in a way but it is just my opinion..

Ironic that of all the former Miss Americas combined......she's gone on to have the most successful singing/acting career. I was still in my early 20s when she was stripped of her title ( within weeks of winning it ).......alledgedly for a couple of artistic semi-nude photos that appeared in an issue of Penthouse. There was another woman in the shot, so it may have been "homophobia", but I suspect they were out to destroy the first black Miss America. SHAME on ALL pageants! GO VANESSA!
