Yes, the audience participation IS a major part of it, but THIS was a bit over the top and distracts from the video of this casts' production.

As part of the Boston/Harvard Sq. cast for five years in the 1980s, LOVE audience participation - or this show woudn't even still be playing - so I DO love AP, just not this particular person shouting, shouting, SHOUTING (& racial slurs, where I stopped watching) - what, did he have script while filming? - PEACE to all..

You don't understand. The whole point of this show is to yell profanities at the screen. We adore the movie by making fun of it and having an AMAZING time! It's like an invisible script. You learn the AP by going several times or joining the cast and getting it taught to you. New stuff is always added so the whole thing will always continue to grow! And JUST because you were part of the old shindig, doesn't mean you're right about the new PARTY! Oh we dream it alright. THAT IS WHY WE "BE" IT <3

@Ryuk45 nope this old! it was old when i used to go in 1988-91.The guy making all the comments is leading the audience particpation, that's what i used to do although some jokes have changed but everything else is the same.
