i like both fighters but walcott won this fight

Injustice?. . I think so, though Louis was always a hero of mine, from what we saw there, (though not complete), Jersy Joe was definitely ahead on points. Nat Fletcher also said so in his summing up of the fight.

the way walcott feints with the jab is similar to Hearns.

@HoodCoderMan the guy you're debating with is too though

@onlyjoetee You're missing my point. Do you think Hagler & Hearns ever gave a fuck about how many points they scored? Do you think Tyson ever gave a fuck about how many points he scored? 100 years ago, boxers fought till one of them couldn't stand anymore. They would go 100 rounds. They fought for honor & respect, not money. All Gayweather does is get points and backs off. And last I checked, Pacquiao agreed to a drug test. Gayweather is shivering now.

@crookedwiretap89 Great debating with you pussy.
I love how people that don't know anything say that Walcott was past his prime when he met Marciano. The Walcott that came out of retirement to fight Joe Louis was the great Jersey Joe Walcott. Early in his career he was mediocre. When he was older he was great. He even knocked out Ezzard Charles, a younger man, to win the title. People also forget that he was well ahead in his first fight with Marciano, but Rocky cornered him and knocked him out. Jersey Joe Walcott was a great fighter.

People don't seem to realize that for a good chunk of his career he was malnurished bordering on starving; he got in the ring in a weakened state just to make a few bucks to buy food. I believe he fought twice in one night at least once. Considering these circumstances is it any wonder Walcott picked up a few losses? It shouldn't detract from his greatness as a fighter.
