Fade [[A Nelena Story]] Season 1 Episode 1

my FIRST episode!
i'm excited about it.
so please comment and make any suggestions you have.
but, there's just one thing i want to make clear before starting this series.
demi and selena used to be friends when demi was living in texas.
but a few years ago, demi was forced to move to california with her mom and step-dad, causing a fight between her and her parents because she didn't want to leave texas.
demi was so mad at them that she moved out and got her own apartment...

Selena's standing in the hallway where Demi's apartment is located. She knocks on the door...

No one opens it.

Selena: *knocks again*

Once again, no one.

Selena: *getting impatient, knocks again harder*
Finally, someone opens the door, but she doesn't know who they are.

Selena: ...Um...hi, I'm Selena. I'm supposed to be living here and I'm looking for Demi. Uh...She does live here, right?

Joe: I'm Joe, and yeah...she does live here. You can come in.

Selena: Okay, thanks. *sighs, picks up her stuff and goes inside*

Joe: So, where are you from?

Selena: Texas.

Joe: Oh. Why'd you move here?

Selena: Well...um...my parents died kind of...*sighs* recently. *looks down* It was either I stayed with my grandparents...which I definitely did not want to do, or I came here.

Joe: Oh, I'm sorry...Are you okay?

Selena: *looks up at him* Yeah, *sighs* I'm fine. I'm just starting to get over it...

Demi: *comes into the room* Joe, who was that- ...Selena?

Selena: Hey Demi!

Demi: *runs over to her and hugs her* Hey! I haven't seen you in, like, 3 years!

(A/N: Demi knew Selena was coming. She called and asked Demi if it was alright if she could stay with her, so Demi already knows about Selena's parents' death.)

Selena: I know!

Demi: *pulls out of the hug* Oh, sorry. This is Joe, my boyfriend.

Joe: Yeah, we kinda already met, but it's nice to meet you.

Selena: *smiles* You too.

Demi: So, how are you doing with the...situation?

Selena: *sighs* Pretty good, I'm getting over it.

Demi: *hugs her again* I feel so bad.

Selena: You shouldn't, none of it was ever your fault, but thanks.

Demi: *pulls out of the hug again* Joe, could you show her the guest room?

Joe: Okay. *takes Selena's stuff and brings her to her room*

Joe's phone beeps.

Joe: *looks at his phone* Uh, sorry. I gotta get going.

Selena: Oh, okay. Well...thanks.

Joe: Yup. Bye.

Selena: Bye.

Joe leaves the room and goes home after saying bye to Demi.

Selena: *starts unpacking*

Later on that night...

Demi: There's a party that me and Joe are going to in a little while with his brother and his girlfriend...and I wanted to know if you wanted to come, too?

Selena: Um...thanks, but I shouldn't. I don't want to ruin-

Demi: Selena, please? I don't want you to be here alone. I'll feel bad. And...if it helps at all, Joe's brother is really cute?

Selena: *laughs* *pauses and thinks, sighs* Fine, I guess I'll go.

Demi: Okay, you should start getting ready. Joe's going to be here to pick us up in about 30 minutes.

Selena: Okay.

Demi: *leaves the room*

Selena: *starts getting ready*
