  • you did this with your cel?

  • no, with my digital camera that has a video option. all of my vids are w/ the same camera.

  • Funny video. Blake was making fun of Pete because he did that during his match w/ John McEnroe. Sampras won this match in 3 sets!

  • was a good match, did you see my other video of pete's serve? NASTY!!! i'd hate to be on the receiving end of those...

  • Hey... exhibitions are meant to be taken lightly. Niether player is playing as hard as they can. So this isnt a great judge of skill nor talent. Its just for fun.

  • that is classic serve and volley.... man I miss tennis like this

  • the court looks soo square....

  • Wimbledon and US Open, along with most other grass and hard court tournaments have been dramatically modified to play much slower since 2001. True aggressive tennis ( serve and volley ) doesnt exist anymore because of the surface changes. You cant even compare tennis now to the 90s. Not saying Fed couldnt win on 90s fast paced surfaces, he can serve and volley very well himself, but he'd face a much more diverse variety of competition - S&V AND baseline

  • @telmolicious

Yeah he beat a 30 year old Sampras still recovering from a herniated disc and hardly training because of his new wife and child. He lost to a dozen other nobodies at that point in his career lol. He lost next year's Wimbledon to #82 George Bastl LOL ... It wasnt till a few months before the 2002 US Open that he started training hard again and was able to reach near prime form.

  • @federeriscol still works, always would work agaisnt a noob :P pro players knows how to handle it and that, serve and volley doesn't have any space for development for the new players, since the ball spin are easier to do now.

  • @quiet1234 as far as I remember teenage fed beat defending champ sampras in 2001 in sampras fav tournament........

  • @quiet1234 name 1 agressive player federer has trouble with??? fed has trouble with baseliners like nadal, djoko, (in smaller tournaments) murray ...

  • and they say petey has no sense of humor

  • @drugstoremarc Serve and volley doesn't work any more

  • @quiet1234 yeh i love federer. whatever. federers allways sucked ass against agressive players huh? you might want to rethink that statement. he dominates soderling, roddick, taylor dent etc. hell anyone with a big serve he rips them apart. federer would not struglle in the 90's because people used less spin then. he only struggles against nadal when he gets those big topspin shots to his backhand... thats all. in the 90's they were all flat hitters. he would have dominated you dumbass.

  • @quiet1234 it wasnt that close... it was like 6-2 6-2.
