This is a scene taken from "Criminal Intent" that has Michael Emerson (Ben) as a "monster" about to strike. The clip also has him "Lost" and looking for a map.

On the idea of BarfyDog, I took that clip and mixed it with clips from Lost where Ben is dealing with maps and Monsters and tried to incorporate the two.

In the end, the monster attacks and the monster awaits as he peers around his victim to see smokie charging toward him.

The Final scene tells us who emerges from the showdown.

It is a bit abstract and there was no real way to flow the clips like I had wanted - so I leave it to you imagination. And I thank BarfyDog for the clip and the idea to join the two shows together.

  • The video was not done with the idea it would make perfect sense. The clip is integrating a scene Emerson had in Law and Order, sent by a friend asking me to try to do something with it. Since he was "lost" in the clip and looking at "maps" I integrated map scenes from Lost. Try to read more into it and you will also be Lost.

As an aside, the monster is more of a reference to Smokie than Ben.

  • And as another aside, since you have me slightly annoyed and I shouldn't be - if you can't take criticism you shouldn't post vids for all to see. But I also see you have no video contribution Roselawn. Before you are overly critical of someone's work, maybe try to do it yourself first. I will agree the effort was not my best or most coherent. Maybe you can do better.

  • I don't see what point you were trying to make with your video. Maps tied some of the scenes together but not all of them & even then a character only says the word "map" once & that's it. Michael Emerson being in all the scenes is not enough to provide a theme for the video either. I assume the "monster" in the title in Ben but you give us Ben showing leniency to Alex after she has betrayed her people. Then we get get Ben sending his daughter & her mother to safety. The acts of a monster?
