COGASM is a side project from Robert Smith and Jason Cooper of THE CURE and guitarist Reeves Gabrels who worked with David Bowie and was a member of TIN MACHINE. The first two letters of the members' surnames were taken to form the group's name, which is properly spelled with all capital letters.

well this is catchy and all but I think Geffin records was a bad Idea. Geffen tried to ruin Peter Gabriel on the so album. I really hope Robert will stick it to Geffen like Peter did. Heart definitly did'nt. And I dont really like this drummer although I love bloodflowers and their self titled is growing on me more. I wish their new cd had more music like underneath the stars

Although it's not a brilliant song, it's great to hear Robert free of the constraints of 'Cureness' . Nowadays it's cure-by-numbers stuff that panders to a fanbase in a way that the younger smith would have hated.
