The best one I've seen is by Callaham Guitars, but they are expensive.I put one in a '62 RI Japan Strat and the difference was quite noticeable, I would not take a chance on any other brand without looking at it first.Your 90s Strat should be pretty good, and changing the block might not be worth it.Have you made sure your guitar is properly set up, things like nut, saddles and the contact points between the bridge and the screws or posts are very important.
theres a bunch of these floating around on Ebay and online , how do i know what I get will be significantly denser/better steel than the block that came with my American Standard Strat (1990s) ?

@kammhron what I noticed was more definition, before it sounded a bit boingy and mushy.
