Professor Mearsheimer: "No Accountability for Israel on Any Issue!"

One of the panelists was Professor John J. Mearsheimer, the co-author of "The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Professor Mearsheimer said: "There is no accountability for Israel on any issue!" He referenced Israel's attack on the USS Liberty, the killing of peace and justice activist Rachel Corrie, and Israel's recent assault on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla. Mearshimer is right. This country does not hold Israel accountable no matter what horror it commits. When Israel in 1967 deliberately attacked the U.S.S. Liberty killing 34 US servicemen and wounding hundreds more the US did not hold Israel accountable for the murder of its citizens. After that Israel knew it could get away with anything and they have.

It is to the deep shame of our government that succeeding administrations have allowed this pissant little country to get away with murder.

@Janba32 - There have been many holocausts all over the world. The photos you refer to in books are often claimed as proof of a German plan to kill Jews, but those are dead camp detainees ( race / religion unknown) who died from starvation.The American army bombed every rail line in Germany in late 1944 / 1945 and the camps had no means to get food delivered. For at least 3 months after the war ended, the deaths continued at an alarming rate.

@390bullitt1968 I believe that Israel and its supporters milked the Holocaust for their own purposes. It was horrible but not the only Holocaust that has happened in the world. The native Americans, the Cambodians, the Rwandans all have been victims of mass killing. In our library is a book called The Black Book printed in the early 1950s. The book is filled with photos of the concentration camps and the piles of bodies. I believe that the number of dead is questionable.

@Janba32 part 4- quite naturally this created an uproar as the holocaust had been used to extort huge payments from businesses and governments, and the future prospects for even greater sums of money, never looked better. The promoters went into overdrive blasting those who had questions as anti semities, while they worked furiously to pass laws to punish any public doubt of this event. So far the plan has worked well. It is a crime in 11 nations to express doubt of the official 6MM number!

@Janba32 - Part 2- The biggest 'survivor" turned out to be elie wiesel. He conned everyone and took center stage as the face of a survivor. In 1978 the US Air Force release photos they had taken of the camps and those photos proven the folks on the lecture circuit were lying. The bigger problem to this legend was the fall of the Berlin Wall and the opening up of Poland. This allowed researchers to inspect

the Polish camps. The evidence showed no gassing program had existed.
