Take OFF the ABS, Launch/Traction/Wheelie Control of MY Bike!!!
Would not mind heated grips, but, I do not need them (often)...
ALL that 'extra' stuff just gets in the way of Having FUN!!!
(Although it does make it easier for untalented riders to Crash at Higher Speeds...) Just Sayin'

the bmw makes 193 bhp not sure if thats at the rear wheel or crank, probably crank.
my bike zx636r makes 116, the bmw is about ten kilos lighter than my bike and my bike IS fast just think about it........plus its got a mad electronics package like abs, anti wheelie , launch control, traction control which is the biggie coz if you got that you can just hold the throttle wide open and you cant fall off

as far as im aware last year the bmw was the fastest set of wheels going , however the new kwaka is pretty much undefeated in a straight line(zzr1400 in the uk) but they make about the same bhp so round a circuit the bm would probably do the kwaka, the real test is on the road though and im sure a decent rider on a zzr 1400 would nail them from the lights when the bends come we are back to square one ( ten seconds to type and ten minutes to take out the drunk spellings)

Well sir just because you are a "technician" doesn't mean you know everything there is to know on the matter.. that simply means you successfully completed a course somewhere and received a certificate. Secondly, I don't have to "research" anything when YOU are the one making the bold statements.. it's simple really, if you make a claim you need facts and references to substantiate that claim otherwise you look like a fool trying to "educate" people.

@Sigrafix Well for starters I'm attending mmi and am a motorcycle technician. Look it up, I'm not researching for you, just trying to educate you guys. it is a known fact. BMW as of the last few years is the fastest street legal production bike.
