"to refute the misunderstood scriptural passages...especially the EVANGELICALS"
It is too bad the Evangelical religion is being hijacked by radicals and attackers. They are truly taking CHRIST out of CHRISTIAN!

But there are more priciples to be understood and more commandments may be added by god because the circumstances and world changes. It is essential for that person to follow these commandments as it was for the early christians to follow peter and the other apostles.
Bible hasn't got all the info God has given and God will reveal more in the future aswell, so that's why we don't emulat the bible alone. There's no amount of works that save one, but the intent and faith of the individual.

That's why we have the living prophets and latterday scriptures to enlighten us more about the matter, we don't try to just interpret the bible alone to be our guide.
Most important is to keep the commandments of christ, if one want's to call them as works. Living the gospel is the essential way to be cleansed from sins, which is faith in christ, repentance, baptism, gift of the holy ghost and then enduring to the end, meaning that one doesn't stop living those principles.

Can you clarify something for me please? If, for example, you take the Bible on it's own then as your source of reference, and you add the works aspects from Christian Living as laid down in THE BIBLE, then they are the only laws and commandments you follow, then one will be saved! Or does one need to follow other commandments and laws too? If works are vital for Salvation, what are they and are there some works that are more profitable than others? How do you know if you have enough works?
On what authority do you believe that the Bible is the word of god? On what authority do you believe that all other ancient texts are not?
I would like to hear your explanation.

revelation from God is the greatest authority on earth. If the angient texts on't contradict the prophets accepted current canon, it can be accepted, if it has problems to fit into the canons teachings, it needs to be aproached cautiously, untill it can be fitted with the accepted doctrines, or it could be rejected as not authentic, or just leave it until more revelation is given to it. My authority on the current canon is the personal revelation from God to testify of it's truth.

Personal revelation is not to be contested because I believe that you believe what you do. However there is not reason for me to believe, that what you believe, is the truth.
Also, be careful with this statement,
"if it has problems to fit into the canons teachings.... untill it can be fitted with the accepted doctrines..."
Your preconceived conclusion should never be considered when trying to follow your investigation. This is a sign of biased research.

when one has received revelation from God, offcourse he's gonna be biased, what do you expext, don't you think moses was biased after talking to God face to face, offcourse he was biased towards certain assumptions or ideas concerning God. No mortal research can ever reveal to us the truth of God, only parts of it, and even those parts can be disputed. You can't know what i know, tha't s why the lds missionaries ask people to pray for themself about the things we teach.
