Ныне в активе "камовцев", которых возглавляет Герой России Сергей Михеев, более 20 типов винтокрылых аппаратов. Наибольшую известность приобрели боевые: знаменитый ударный Ка-50 "Чёрная акула", разведывательно-боевой Ка-52 "Аллигатор" и десантно-транспортный Ка-60 "Касатка" - "триада" армейской авиации; корабельный противолодочный спасательный Ка-27, радиолокационного дозора Ка-31. Но эти вертолёты имеют и гражданские модификации. Среди них выделяются своими уникальными характеристиками: лёгкий Ка-226, грузоподъёмный Ка-32 и скоростной Ка-62. Уже в ближайшие 20 лет винтокрылая авиация России пополнится новыми перспективными вертолётами фирмы, в том числе машиной Ка-92 с невиданной ранее скоростью для аппаратов такого класса - свыше 500 километров в час. Они будут незаменимы как для нужд обороны страны, так и для развития транспортной системы в районах Дальнего Востока и Крайнего Севера.
