this version is very cute, and sounds nice with a female voice.i like the glee one too its calm and refreshing. billys is ok but well he gets points for actually creating the song.... i like some of his other songs better

Come on. It's not like she just walked in to a studio, took a piss, and the song was done. The music is not the same. It's an homage. Forget the part about the piss, please.

@aaronmon No, I'm sure it took them a bit, but it still would be nothing compared to: fear of putting out something completely unknown; having to CREATE music from scratch; WRITE lyrics from scratch etc.. Mountains of hurdles they get to skip. I was asked to be the 2nd screenwriter for a screenplay and I worked HARD on it for a month, however it was INSANELY easier than starting from scratch rather than spicing it up from the original script.

Not trying to rag you... Even Hendrik copied others. Its been happening since music was invented.

Difference between "copy" & "not the writer". Elvis would have material written specifically for him which he did contribute majorly on some tracks. However a few were his babies; Elvis took a gospel song from his youth where he loved just one or two cords. From just those cords, Elvis built on them and created the music for "Love me Tender". Then another guy wrote the lyrics.

What these groups do is take, already popular released songs that have already built a name; proven to be a beat that will work since it was already a hit. And then just added their own spice which probably took a day for them to come up with; then build a career on that. Elvis did cover songs that had already been released, however that wasn't his "career". He usually just sang those during concerts. 17 of his 18 #1 hits, he was the original singer.
