    why do these fundamental Christians have such black and white views? they misconstrue science completely. they "wedge" people into anger and create such incoherence and often downright idiocy in those to whom they preach their nonsense.

    it is so shameful; an embarassment to our culture. they are trying to regress society entirely.

  • Apes are a physological designation. The class of "apes" includes many other animals. It's a taxonomical and cladistic fact that we are apes. Carolus Linnaeus, back in the 1700's designated us as this type of creature. And he was a Creationist! "God Creates I Designate" -- But not so dense as to miss the observable fact that all of life occurs in nested hierarchies, identifiable by characteristics - similar differences and different similarities, etc. Physiology.
