"Jaws" is the best PG-13 horror movie, the best animal horror movie, scary as hell and one of the few horror movies who got academy awards. Steven Spielberg's film debuet is one of the best horror movies ever made and John William's score is legendary too.
One of the best and a true classic!!!

For listening purpose only, like the other Soundtracks I am uploading...

  • jaws is the best horror film ever

  • This the album version version of the track which is a lot scarier and more violent, mainly because of the loud hard "BING, BING, BING" you hear at 1:05-1:12. You don't hear that in the film or the 20th anniversery edition which the music straight from the film.

It's probley better that way cause when you're just listening to the music it helps if the music wa a bit more intense on the soundtrack album than the movie, while the movie itself provides the intensity, the music would be less.

  • @menslady125 I think the only mistake Chrissie made was being in a thriller/horror movie...

  • Incredible violin sequence at 0:35. Sheer terror! Steven Spielberg was in London last week promoting War Horse and they showed Jaws on ITV 1, a main UK channel, prime time Friday night.I think the older Jaws gets the more respect its getting coz after 30 years the're beginning to realize they can't top it.

  • SCARY music. I felt so sad for Chrissie :(

  • there is some bartok in it.

  • The score seems different is this an original John Williams score from 1975?

  • I think it was Chrissie's death that was the most horrifying..really, seeing her get mauled by an unknown force, screaming "It hurts, it hurts!" Over and over..

I think what really sent the chills down my back was when she shouted "God please help!" Really loud before being pulled down to her death..

  • Chrissy made a number of mistakes:

    1. Swimming at dusk

    2. Swimming alone

    3. Swimming out too far

    4. It is possible that the vibrations of her movements reached Jaws, too.

So, sea swimmers...learn from her mistakes. Oh...and don't swim at night or dawn, either.

  • @Peterson9473 well, so does every other tv company, but hey, it's better for bright house calling jaws a horror than calling looney tunes a drama.

(they actually did classify looney tunes as a drama ;D)

  • @TheDarthPineapple if you have direct tv it considers it a horror

  • @Avzzor it's not a horror movie
