We removed an old traditional sand filter, and replaced it with an aqua ultraviolet beaded filter. This filter has plastic beads that are lightweight so they can be cleaned every time the filter is backwashed, saving money in the long run on filter changes. The filter media has the most surface area possible to allow beneficial bacteria to break down debris in your pond and save you time and money.
