In August, 2007, author Peter Stekel discovers the body of a second crew member from an ill-fated Beech 18 that disappeared November 18, 1942 on a navigation training mission from Mather Field in Sacramento, CA. Peter Stekel was in northern Kings Canyon National Park conducting research for his book, Final Flight, which documents the mission and the four aviators aboard the missing aircraft. Originally broadcast on KFSN ABC30, Fresno, CA in August, 2007
