John McCain: Christian Enough?

As a practicing Christian, I completely agree that Christianity is a Socialist and Communist organization. Socialism and Communism in its purest form makes for the perfect society, where everyone helps each other and puts others before themselves. The problem with this is that we as a people are greedy, which is why Capitalism works and Communism/Socialism doesn't. Sorry to offend people, but Communism and Socialism would result in a utopian world if it were practiced in its truest form.

Haha, funny. Really misleading, but still funny.

It's called misinterpretation of the Bible. The Bible isn't just a historical book, it is also the Christian book of moral values. You have stepped into the realm of mis-interoperation of the Bible, which is dangerous. You can support anything if you pick out the right passage. You need to examine the historical context and scriptural context. Go take a course in Theology and Philosophy.

Well spoken! Regarding Socialism though - The countries of Northwestern Europe all successfully practice Socialism to a certain degree (Scandinavia, germany, England etc) It's all about moderation, I also agree with you that Communism is a bit too utopical. Greed will always spawn corruption and I do believe that if you work harder/do a better job than others you should be rewarded for that.
Jesus is about love.

Jitterz7, as someone who just typed OMFG, I cannot believe you have a firm understanding of the bible. There's a pretty important section in there about not taking the lord's name in vain.
