  • no, cut it off right after the cat. i bought the kit off ebay and it was made for this truck so i didn't have to re-route anything at all. i have it exiting out of the back of the truck. if you look at my other vids you can see the tips behind the bumper.

  • doesnt tha wear out your exhaust valves?

  • @jerryweinm no it doesn't, but if you cared to read my entire post on this video, i actually have a real cat back flowmaster kit, but i just wanted to see how this would sound, so my truck had no exhaust for approximately 5 minutes.

  • did your check engine light come on when you cut the muffler off

  • @wmurphy007 no, a cel wouldn't come on unless you hacked off a cat, or something to do with the emissions without a tune.

  • not very loud for no muffler but i hate the poping at then end im going to watch the video with the flowmaster now

  • @hooksmason Don't forget too, it's a truck motor, not very high revving, so naturally it doesn't sound as loud as a sports car would sound with no muffler.

  • duh. one of the things the muffler does, is "muffle" the sound (reduces noise)

  • Play with your xbox kid.

  • I got a ticket for it... Dumb Fuck. Its an illegal equipment violation.

  • @Longhorn959 it's not illegal dumb fuck

  • This is so legal

  • so did you just unclamp it right before the muffler or saw it off or what? also did you make a custom route for the exhaust out the side or the back or something or just let it dump underneath the cab? i would love a video of this setup, im thinking about doing this to my truck

  • @jerryweinm no if you have long tubes you can dump right after they end.. stock/shorties you need an cross pipe. or dump after cats.

  • @YoungerPrice doubt it the only you could fuck up your exhaust valves is if you ran with no headers for about 2 days.

  • @t94r84h47 i would say its closer to 5 inches, not 6.2

  • @YoungerPrice your entire exhaust system operates on back pressure, so of course it will affect the valves

  • @jerryweinm no muffler has nothing to do with your exhaust valves
