  • So SoundExchange has offered a $2500 cap. Once again backroom deals with Webcasters. And how does that prove that the Copyright Royalty Board's decision was justified? On the contrary, these private negotiations merely indicate that the system is flawed. Now it is time for Congress to step in and fix the broken statutory license. It is time for our government to stop offloading these legislative deficiencies onto SoundExchange.
