Hum Honge Kaamyaab - Performed by Indian rockers Galeej Gurus. Fueled by Flying Machine.

Flying Machine along with the popular rock band Galeej Gurus come together on India's 62nd Independence Day to present a unique rendition of the song 'Hum Honge Kaamyaab'.

Galeej Gurus present the hard rock rendition of the song that has been played and sung by most of us, in a more serene manner till now.

Given the bands sound, Flying Machine thought it would be a great idea to cover a patriotic song using a Rock theme. So the band went about deciding between songs like 'Hum Honge Kaamyaab', 'Sa Re Jahan Se Acha' and so on. A quick check helped the band decide which song to cover. They couldn't find a rock version of 'Hum Honge Kaamaayab' and so decided to take up the challenge of rewriting the song with a rock feel to it.

This song was also apt for all of the band as it had a nice patriotic message to convey and this sat perfectly with the music that they had in mind.

Given that the Galeej Gurus never ever covered a Hindi song as a band before, it was a new & quite an interesting experience for the band.

The ideas for the video were fantastic & the band fitted right in. The band's wardrobe was provided by Flying Machine and they complimented every frame that was shot.

It was a great feeling for the band to be part of India's Independence Day celebrations, & being associated with India's Independence Day celebrations was the main reason why the band took up this opportunity, this one time.
