This is shooting random stuff to test the film and camera.

  • Hey Man! Great stuff! really!! I just sent you a message on your myspace account, about a possible collaboration between you and I (I make music)... hope you get the time to read it and answer. All the Best! E.

  • i dont use myspace

  • how did you digitize your film? :) awesome video!

  • The way I did it was I had a super8 film projector. Projected the image onto the wall in a dark room.

Then with my camcorder set up pointing at the projected image, recorded it off the wall.

    Its called a "cheap telecine"

  • @AndyBradley awesome! thanks :) im thinking of getting a super 8 but still trying to see if developing and digitizing will be feasible here in my country. thanks!

  • no worrys. Most film labs you can post to and they will return your film on dvd or mini dv (or any format) by post.

Expect to pay around £20 + for your film, processing and transfer.

  • you're right, Donovan totally works

  • This is brilliant. What camera did you use for it? I'm thinking of buying a Nizo, I've heard they're alright.

  • Neat footage. I'm about to shoot a short on super 8 for one of those "one reel" contests. Was this shot at 24fps or 18fps?
