  • what gage is the steamer

  • Its 7 1/2 inch gauge.

  • is it on this clip or is it on a different part of the tape.

  • There are four different places in this video where you can hear the nice square exhaust.

  • nice locomotive. is it a good steamer. it kinda looked like he was havin trouble raising the pressure.

  • Yea, its a good steamer. This guy does'nt build any junk!!These were just bits and pieces of a small amount of tape I have of this one run. Somehow, you missed the part of it running with that nice square exhaust.

  • This is a very impressive fabrication effort! Was this built entirely from scratch or from a kit, some assembly (lol) required? Either way, very nice. Always loved seeing these at model railroad shows

  • How cool is that??

  • Yes, Peter and a friend fabricated the Walshearts valve mtion for this engine.

  • You guys are lucky, here in California almost all of our 7 1/2 steamers run off of diesel propane, oil, or kerosine, at my club I have only seen 3 coal burners.

  • I love ten wheeler steam locomotives!

  • Ver-r-y beautiful!

  • Hey Bruce, what happened to this engine? Peter doesn't own this own still does he?
