This episode was shot in December. This was an exciting trip as we caught a couple of dozen striped bass in the East River from the Statue of Liberty to the 59th St. Bridge. It was also very interesting and educational in the rigging, tackle and bait choices for this trip. The scenery was wonderful as we took you on a scenic voyage up the East River while catching this area's favorite game fish...the striped bass. We give us all the secrets to success in fishing this area which you can transpose to other areas as well, including water temperatures and hiding places of the striper. • Great video. I fish by Uthant Island and do pretty well. The Diamond Reef has been good lately. I was by Roosevelt last night and I had a six year old catch a 25 inch bass. Her first one. Check out my videos and give me some tips. Keep up the good work with your videos. Did you notice lately the visibility in the East River has been 4 feet or so. If you see a 24 foot Grady White called the Great White from Hoboken, that is me. See you on the river. Roger

  • When are we going fishing??? Let me know!
