  • I want a fairchild.

  • If you're good, maybe Santa will put one under your tree this Christmas.

  • It was done through MESS. A pain to set up, but worth it I think.

  • Back in the day, I used to play the Channel F with my sister at my grandparents house. At the time, this stuff was amazing. Come to think of it, this was the first video game system I ever played. Years before I played Atari, even. Thanks for the flashback video!

  • @Umma6umma-is this two-player only, or can you play against the computer??

  • Sounds like some bad ass minimal track to mee XD

  • Sweet memories...

  • This game actually looks kinda fun in a very quaint way!

  • Dude my cousin had this system. He would get stoned and play.

  • How I remember the G? at the beginning. I think I have get that thing out of the basement on one rainy sunday afternoon... good old times

  • "S?"

  • Actually, it's white. It just looks cyan, probably due to the color tint in this video.

The white background was actually due to the extreme graphical limitations of the Channel F. There were only five colors total, and weird rules, one of which must have dictated that you couldn't have a black background and still have colored sprites.

  • you could play the beat to safety dance with those sounds. boop boop beep beep boop boop boop beep beep..

  • Love it. Glad the designers realized the appropriate background color for a game entitled "Space War" is clearly ... cyan!
