  • It would be terrible if your bird just flew away because we've had this one bird for over 2 years and let her run around outside, and one day on Thanks Giving she decided to just take off. She flew away and we were looking for her all night. And we felt terrible because on the news that day they said its going to be FREEZING at night.

  • @natalie30495 At that time, Frostie's flight feathers were trimmed and there was no way he could fly away at all. Whenever I have taken him outside, his feathers have been trimmed and he has been closely supervised.

I'm so sorry about your bird. That must have been heartbreaking for you. :*(

  • Hi, Karla - Oh, yes I have seen your Avis! Love, love, love him, too! I have a green-cheeked conure that has emotional problems - extremely angry (almost all my birds are emotional rescues.) But she enjoys dancing with me around the living room. I am in love with my Goffins, though. Whenever I watch Frostie I just have to go over and pass the love on to my Peaches. You have done wonders with your birds! Great job! Blessings to you and your gorgeous and talented family!

  • @joannasunday Little Avis is such a joy. But, he chews his feathers when he stresses out, something which really frustrates me. Of all four of my parrots, he brings me the most joy and is a delightful little companion. I love him dearly. Out of the four, he's the only one who poops on me which is a bummer because he spends the most time on my shoulder! Lol!

  • THIS IS SO MUCH FUN, SEEING SUCH HEALTHY WELL CARED FOR BIRDS ENROYING LIFE!

  • @sommersetxena Thank you. I'm glad you are enjoying my videos!

  • Even clipped birds can be lost pretty easily. I have a friend who took her clipped macaw out on her shoulder every day. One day a big gust of wind blew him up into a tree. He didn't know how to fly well so he couldn't come down. Then he was blown into another tree. Soon she lost track of him and never saw him again.
