Superman: Genesis - Teaser Trailer

Alright everyone, here is my brand new project(Sort of). This is something I've been wanting to do ever since the fifth season of Smallville, and now that the series is wrapping up, I finally have the chance. I WILL be making a full movie, but remember this isn't an ordinary fan-film, it's more like a fan-edit of the entire Smallville series, but keeping the parts related to Superman. It's going to be hard but I think I nailed a pretty good story.

I won't really be posting anything with this anytime soon, because I have to wait until the finale airs, but I will be working on the film, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask if you like!

How did you make it look like he was wearing the suit at 1:24. That was impressive.

@myfinedays I used Adobe After Effects to mask Tom Welling's head onto a clip of Brandon Routh wearing the suit.

@myfinedays You know, I think finding actual footage of Brandon Routh facing sideways as Superman was the hardest part, because if you notice, Tom Welling isn't movin that much so masking it onto him wasn't THAT bad, I think it got the job done.

As for Welling deserving to be Superman in the new film, well, if you think about it, Welling has been Clark Kent for ten years, longer than any other actor. He's actually gotten his fair share of the character. And he gets to have portrayed the character in a way no one else has really gotten to for that long of a period. Being just Clark for ten years is something no one will probably ever do again.

If you use that part at 1:21 and mask a red cape in there, it looks enough like the superman suit. :)

Damn this is just too epic and you've honestly done a way better job at a trailer for Smallville than the network could ever do - keep it up mate. Haha if I had 100 mil I'd give it to you to make a decent movie.
