I THINK WE SHOULD SAVE OUR OIL RESERVES FOR WHEN THE OIL SUPPLY RUNS LOW, NOT WHEN SOME GREEDY MEN WANT IT. THAT'S WHY WE CALL THEM RESERVES. IF WE GET BIG OIL POLITICIANS OUT OF WASHINGTON THE PRICE OF OIL WILL GO DOWN!!!Please do not believe all the lies about the fish and the commercial fishermen.We are just in the oil companies way.

@observationclone not at the cost of our economy...tourism is vital to us here, if you morons turn us into texas and we got rigs hardly a mile apart right on shore then our primary industry will collapse. that goes with mentioning you cant touch the areas deemed marine preserves....we work our asses off to live here, the beach and ocean is our culture. you have no right to ravage it.

If we don't drill, China and other countries will and have already spoken of doing so.

Another thing, alternative fuels are decades away from being developed. Anything that could be available is way out of the price range of the average citizen.

Yes, lets drill, and for every oil spill lets deem the comm. fisherman liable !! I use fossil fuels to run my vessel but i do not wish to be exterminated due to financial businesses which try to ban commercial fisherman so less liability is present !!!! If the discontinuance of fossil fuels is in order then so be it, for i will row my vessel to my fishing grounds and make my living at the expense of my muscles !!!!!! I have lived as a fisherman and to you ignorant people i will die as one !
