At least this time, you recognized the doofus inconsistency in criticizing liberals for allegedly preferring "their women barefoot and pregnant," while at the same time touting the nonexistent virtues of someone who has spent much of her adult life "barefoot and pregnant" (not to mention married to a guy everyone knows would prefer to be doing men). Yeah, women's liberation was a conservative movement. Right!

He served three terms in Congress and changed parties after he incurred the wrath of President Andrew Jackson by being the only Congressman from Tennessee to vote against "The Indian Re-location Act" which eventually forced the Cherokee Indians to be relocated to Oklahoma along what came to be known as "The Trail of Tears."

@eqsmooth, I am having fun and while it is good that you take your politics seriously, never take your politics so seriously that you cannot have a good laugh. Congressman Paul has a sense of humor! He would probably suggest that if I am going to meet Michele in Pigeon Forge, I should make sure that Dolly joins us for a threesome. That would be a lot to handle, but for a Tennessean it would be just another day at the office!

incitebytes, you have a great sense of humor! Although I do admire and support Michele, I do not agree with her on every issue and I have no objection to others disagreeing with her. I just think that some of the comments on these pages are much too personal and are over the top. She needs a knight in shining armor to defend her.

@Tennessee3501, You seem like a nice enough guy and, who knows, maybe some day you'll get to be Bachmann's Sir Lance-A-Lot (pun intended). I agree with you that our politics have gotten pretty nasty, but multiply by 10 whatever Bachmann's experienced and you have the Republican vitriol that's been spewn at Obama (some of it from Bachmann herself, e.g., saying Obama's views are "Anti-American," etc., ad nauseam). My disagreements with her are about policy, which I'm always willing to discuss.

incitebytes, I guess by now you have figured out that I have a soft spot in my heart for Michele (No, don't spit out your coffeee!). I went to her husband and told him of my feelings for Michele and told him that I wanted to run off with her to an island in the South Pacific. He told me that my problem was that I was a heterosexual and that after six months of reparative thereapy, his clinic could cure my heterosexuality and make me gay. After that I would have no evil heterosexual thoughts.

@Tennessee3501, And, let me guess, along the way you got some hands-on reparative "therapy" from Marcus himself that helped you "stiffen" your resolve against your old, heterosexual ways. Given her obvious preference in "men," you may have actually improved your chances. Go for it!
