  • nice synth, however I don't feel any analogue there, sounds very digital.

  • @orientalflux but this synth can be very analogue just with special wavetables.

  • Wow someone who knows how to program their synth!

  • @firehandszarb haha. =) it's not very complex synth, really. =)

  • @orientalflux Yes, it's very digital. There are all many different sounds in the world, and analog (or analog emulation) is not the only tool you can use to make music. I like analog synthesizers too but they can't make the sounds that the XTk makes, and vice versa. Appreciate instruments for what they are.

  • @orientalflux Go buy analog if you want analog. This is a wavetablesynth and it eats you alive dopehead!

  • Dude, the image is shaky and the colors are ba-a-ad, you should fix the camera. :D

  • Fantastic!!!!! Where can i buy this Synth??????

  • I use an SPL Vitalizer with my XTk. While it still won't sound like an analog machine, it gets surprisingly close to the sound of the Microwave 1 with analog filters I will post up some clips next month. I'm very happy with this setup.

  • @TheCountaaron hahaha easy baba! my mistake then

  • @orientalflux who gives a fucking shit if it sounds analog?.. this is a digital wavetable synth and has no intention on sounding "analog".

  • 01 : 57..... so deep bass-beautifull!! ... i wonder about virus user's, hahaha! btw i own a Q , its more trippy i think but ths becomes a quality synth also* thanx for posting this.

  • @leerique - I don't know that this instrument needs to sound very analog. To paraphrase John Foxx of Ultravox, I believe it's going to be a challenge of today's generation to learn to understand and program digital so it sounds good...as digital. Not just as VA.

    Nice demo, btw.

  • @leerique

Have you used it's wavetable envelopes and user wavetables? ;)

Or those modifiers which look like mathematical formulas +, -, *, /, XOR, OR, AND, S&H, ramp, switch, abs value, min value, max value, lag proc., diff. etc..?

I would say that this thing could be complex..it just depends on user if using all of it's possibilities. Gladly it can produce marvellous sounds with just subset of its parameters. =P

  • Most amazing range of sounds I've heard in a single synth demo.

    I've hire you if I could ^_^.
