  • how does -16-2= -18? it should equal +18

  • @ravatheman I think you need to revise directed number. Imagine if I take £16 from you then take £2 I have taken £18 in total..

  • xD thanks alot man. i curently have a 4.0 (im black >:D) and you literally saved my report card. This exact type of problems were on the exam and on the unit test.   • @DRKlotz96 it does become a positive sixteen, but you don't want it so you have to take it back off again.

  • When you square the negative 4 why would it not become a positive sixteen?
