Chess robot created by Konstantin Kosteniuk plays blitz vs Vladimir Kramnik, No 1 Russian chess player and former World champion. Result of the game was draw though robot stayed better. Developers of the robot suggest an official blitz match against any of the strongest human chess players including new World blitz champion.

Шахматный робот Константина Костенюка играет блиц партию против Владимира Крамника, сильнейшего российского шахматиста, бывшего чемпиона мира. Результат партии - ничья с позиции силы робота. Разработчики робота предлагают провести официальный блиц матч с любым из сильнейших шахматистов мира, включая нового Чемпиона мира по блицу.

  • Good work! For my robotics class we integrated a camera to let the robot "see" the board. This saved us needing to buy the $1100 board. So a slower move on the robot's part (cycle of about 15 seconds from move to move), and a bit more complex to program, but a good project for sure!

  • @Freshmoore Thanks. Camera sight is very interesting, but we considered it as much more difficult in programming and less sure for a real chess game.

  • @undeadnightorc Yes, such board is very convenient, but it one costs like the whole Novag device. And this robot arm with chess engine connected costs much more than that.
