  • had prk...couldn't feel a thing during the procedure and didn't have any pain for the first day or two. third through fifth day was a bit more difficult. eyes felt irritated and watered quite a bit. currently on day six post-op and things are still cloudy, but I still see much better than without corrective lenses before surgery. my prescription was

-8.50 and corneas were too thin for lasik. can't wait for my vision to get better and I don't regret getting the procedure done!

  • i had lasik and the surgery itself did not hurt at all u feel nothing afterwords my eyes hurt for about 4 hours then pain was mostly gone by next morning i was good to go no pain nothing ready to go back to my normal life lasik is the way to go not prk

  • I had LASEK on a Friday. The Saturday was ok in terms of pain. Sunday was the worst...very red eyes, irritated, painful. Had to use the pain meds I received. By the Monday morning it was gone, and was continual improvement from there. Had the contacts removed on the Wednesday. Two months out and I'm better than 20/20. Very pleased with everything.

  • Does it work though? Is your vision better?

  • PRK IS PAINFREE!?

    are you kidding me!

I done a PRK 4 days ago and I am just STARTING to get better

painfree is a completely false, even when taking correctly all the medications (just as I did)

However, I still don't regret my surgery.. but it's not painfree at all, trust me ;)

  • I can't wear contact lenses, otherwise I would just get contacts.
