Ocarina of Time (0D3H): Ganondorf, Ganon

This is from a "no death 3 heart" run I did in Nov 24th-25th. It wasn't requested, just did it for fun and filmed the bosses to show off lol.

I also set other restrictions for this run, not getting:
Hylian shield
Biggoron's sword/Giant's knife
Bigger bags
Bigger magic meter
2x defense upgrade
Spells other than Din's Fire
Arrows other than the Light ones
Bottles (other than the unskippable one, leaving it unused except for entering Jabu-Jabu and using blue fire in Ice Cavern and Ganon's Castle)
Gold Skulltulas
Epona

Ganondorf was good, could probably 2cycle him at best but I haven't even done that before (with the MS) so this is fine. I chose not to return his other attack for I didn't remember details like how fast it is - had I screwed up it would've been a 1hit so didn't wanna risk it and took the "easy" way out lol.

Ganon... the easiest fucking thing when you know what to do. XD Showed my inventory at the beginning for the restrictions, I know the quality is bad but you should be able to see everything there lol. You can see my awesome cam stand too if you look closely: webcam on a random toilet paper roll on the gamecube. XD

Save menu at the end is mainly to show 000 deaths.

I'm not entirely sure here, but I'll still go ahead. Wouldn't the jumpslash/stab trick work better on defeating Ganondorf faster than the rapid spin? Or is it not worth it because it's not x4 the damage (It's x2. And it's x4 if you do Deku Stick / Kokiri Sword stab.)

I'm not sure because I remember watching a Single Segment speed run, and the guy defeated Bongo Bongo using a combination of stab and rapid spin, saying it was faster, but I don't remember how he did Ganondorf. :x

@Rheault Yep, technically power crouch stabbing is the fastest way as you can kill in one cycle even with the master sword... I just like quickspins, that's all XD and this wasn't a speed run so 1-2 more cycles doesn't really make a difference.

Besides, it isn't exactly easy to one cycle him that way. The timing is pretty precise.

I guess you didn't get hit by the skull fellows when you have to run down to Ganon, those would be one shot kill to right? and how the hell do you even have three hearts in the first place? You get a heart from defeating a boss......

And do you know if you can one cycle ganondorf with the giant sword, i never figured out the quick power spin so using that i suppose. Its easy to two cycle him with the GS without that spin. lol

@Swizzle62 The stalfos won't kill you in less than two hits. I think depending on the attack they only take one heart sometimes. o_O Or maybe 1½... As for the three hearts question, superspaz is right.

Yep, I think you can one cycle Ganondorf without using the power crouch stab glitch if you do quickspins with the Biggoron's sword.
