its not the governments job to support you, i had to test to get a job,,,,if a drug addict is using drugs guess wheres the money coming from<<<< if your on welfare and dont do drugs then theres nothing to worry about...

I think they should be drug tested, and if they are found to suffer from addiction issues they should be put through a rehabilitation program. Once they are clean and healthy I think they should then have them spend one day a week doing menial jobs with the government (cleaning up the streets, etc) to establish the habit of working, and the whole time giving them access and the means to find a secure job so they can wean them off welfare.
