Doctor Who - 4th Doctor Opening Theme Remix

Here's yet another Doctor Who theme remix experiment, only this time with the Doctor Who theme arrangements made by Delia Derbyshire in 1970 (an updated version based on the original theme she made in 1963) and Peter Howell in 1980.

Both themes have been re-pitched and mixed so they can play in reasonable synch to each other (although mainly pitched towards the Peter Howell theme arrangement, being my favourite).

Of course, as both themes were used during the famous 4th Doctor era (1974-1981) starring Tom Baker, I felt the theme remix should be played along a mix of his two Doctor Who titles.

I suppose I could do. I admit I didn't consider it before as the opening titles are usually much more interesting than closing titles.

The visuals are great, but audio i dont' think it came out that good. It sounds like there's too much goign on and doesn't really blend

I sort of half agree with you. I think the audio synch works better here than in previous videos of mine, but I agree that the Derbyshire and Howell themes don't make happy bedfellows. They're both so unique and amazing in their own individual ways and style that they do sort of clash - the mysterious and mercurial meeting the jaunty and stylised. Still, I fancied a go at it anyway.
