  • this what happens to me on the parirtion part

The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved.

Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again.

or u can say i want to get the option of os selection only if want otherwise boot directly to mac osx,

if i make myself clear please answer thanks

  • @kamikim1

So are you asking if you can boot it up in either mac or windows?

  • would i need to instal any virus protection for windows?

  • @MelaynaVang Yes.

Whenever windows is installed and you are using it, it is just like a PC so you could get viruses.

  • whata heck when i try to install apple applications the dvd instal its says Boot Camp x64 is unsupported on this computer model..... this sucks

  • @Kuifung when you are on OS X, go to system preferences and then click on 'Startup Disk' under System. Select the OS X and then it will ask you to restart your computer. It should then choose OS X as your default startup software
