National, Detroit based artist, Sponge rocked out with a phenomenal show Saturday night in the Mt.Clemens, Michigan performing a number of songs on the main stage of the Emerald Theater before breaking the equipment down and continuing in the Rock Room. Vinnie and the band were in top form -- the sound was fantastic, and the crowd was definitely into the festivities. The Emerald serves as a great venue for a rock show like this, as you can get up close and cozy to check out the scene.
