Together on Diabetes

Bristol-Myers Squibb CEO Lamberto Andreotti announces Together on Diabetes®: Communities Uniting to Meet America's Diabetes Challenge, a 5-year, $100 million initiative by the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation to help patients living with type 2 diabetes better manage their diabetes beyond the doors of their doctor's office. Type 2 diabetes affects about one in 12 Americans and could affect as many as one in three Americans by 2050. The largest corporate philanthropic commitment to fighting diabetes in the United States, Together on Diabetes® will help remove barriers to diabetes diagnosis and care -- and enhance diabetes patient support -- by empowering patients to understand their role in managing their diabetes and reducing the risks it can pose to their health.
