It may be true that most people prefer "foreign music" in the big cities, like in the capital of Peru. But I'm sure that in the smaller towns people still appreciate their music, like this Huayno. Coracora es la cuna del Huayno y el Yaravi Ayacuchano!

No me men that not always true, yes i must admit that peru its a country that doesnt value its music very much but in ayacucho( huamanga, puquio, huanta, etc) thats their music, if you go to the capital( Lima) then...sadly most people prefer foreign music such as rock
