Please read the description.
I finally found an appropriate camera tripod. This video was mainly a test, so please tell me what you think of it (better/worse/don´t care).
I had some trouble with it, quite often you don´t have a good view on what is going on, thats why my camera has a display only on it´s back, so i´m not seeing what i´m filming while working on a model. Thats bad but i think i will get used to it.

The model is a StuG III G from Dragon (Bodo Spranz) in 1/35 scale. The video shows me weathering it with pigments. The tank isn´t finished yet, but i guess in the next few days the video of the finished model will be up on my channel. I want to build a diorama for it, but i have no good idea for one at the moment. Maybe you have an idea?

Anyway, if you have some ideas/suggestions/questions/etc. please tell me. I want to make my videos better (not perfect, but as good as i can and as long as it isn´t to time consuming).

Thank you.

I don´t own the rights for the music.

  • I'll have to try your pigment method one day on a panzer III or something. I came up with a very effective technique for 1941 mud effects. What i do is wet the surface of the model where the mud will build up. I then dip the brush in Dark mud or russian earth pigment, and tap it over the wet surface. Once the layer is complete, i wet the surface again and repeat that until i'm happy with the mud accumulation. Looks very realistic and nice.

  • @militariacollector1 sounds like an interesting technique :)

  • Very nice mate! Thanks foe sharing. I really want to se you paint some sci-fi stuff :)

  • @madgolem i tried to get my hands on a maschinenkrieger model from hasegawa, but they are very expensive...but i will keep searching :)

  • @Blueatchley12 thank you for your kind words :) in fact, there are many better model builders out there, and they are not known. you should look at the models of the famous builders, like miguel jimenez. you will see why they are famous and high ranking!

  • @888HamilkarBarkas888 Your'r not already high ranking! ! ?!?!?! whats amater with people these are the best i have ever seen

  • Cheers some great painting tips , I love your tank, Ace work!!!!

  • @MakingModelsAgain wow, thank you for your very nice words! i hope to be good enough one day to place one of my models in a high rank in a competition.

  • @flightdeckreviews sounds good, just give it a try and the result will be nice :)

thinned down black paint works perfectly, i do the same with oil paints, but acrylic or enamel paints are fine aswell.
