Ha Ha, that's funny man. Not sure about this old Scitex one but for starters, Scitex had heads as accurate as todays Epson about 20 years ago. Ever heard of an Iris? Was a digital contract proofer that had halftone dots, 20 years ago.
Also, I have the new HP like this, is called a HP TurboJet 8500 UV, and it's about $500,000 bucks, 40 or 50k won't buy a new set of heads for this thing man. This is big time expensive hardware.
Not really a plotter, but a drum printer. It uses Epson piezo print heads (I'm not sure of the numbers) lined up along the bottom row of the drum. This machine costs around $40-50K.
