  • A little while back I watched this video series before, but I thought it would be too hard. I got my bamboo afghan hooks in the mail today and immediately thought of your tut! I loved it! It was not at all hard. Thanks for the tutorial.

Question, how do you determine how many to chain in the beginning? the next time I make this I want to do larger squares- about 12 vertical bars wide. Thanks :)

  • @poetspice You need enough chains for the bottom and for the sides. I would make a chain longer than what I think it would be, then make it. You can always remove the extra chains later.

  • Beth, I have gotten to this point and want to start the next round but the yarn isn't on the edge like it was when I went from the first to second round. Can you help?

  • @Kuhnsey12 you must have forgotten to slip stitch up to the next level. You can still do that now.

  • @Bethintx1 can i fasten off too??? or i need to slip stitch???

  • @13141508si You can fasten off. That is what is usually done when you have more colors.
