@coyote3558 Probably, but the diagnosis of borderline personality disorder didn't exist then. That means a pattern of suicidal or near-suicidal behaviors.
The facts: Andy said he wanted to be there to film Edie's suicide (book Edie: Factory Girl by Dalton). Andy filmed Edie in the suicide film Lupe. Andy filmed Edie when she was too sick to perform (Edie: Factory Girl, PBS documentary).

I love Edie Sedgwick. She is addicting. I wonder what her official diagnosis was in the mental hospitals she was in besides drug addiction--manic depression?

edie sedgwick had (and still has) something about her that draws you in and makes you pay attention. even the people who hate on her and say she was just like paris hilton are obviously obsessed with her because why else would they make those comments all the time?
i'm pretty much addicted to her and i have no clue why.. i can't explain it. maybe that's the point though.
